Clinical Research on Neoantigen-Reactive TILs

Tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) are T cells that infiltrate tumor tissues. TILs can be isolated from a patient’s tumor tissue and expanded ex vivo before being reinfused into the patient to induce an antitumor immune response.

Unmet need for advanced TIL manufacturing

Bulk TIL therapy has demonstrated limited efficacy in patients with refractory metastatic epithelial cancers,
whereas neoantigen-reactive TIL therapy has shown clinical responses in approximately 12% of treated patients.

Clinical studies are conducted across multiple tumor types based on the same therapeutic mechanism of TIL therapy

Preclinical Manufacturing Process Development

Preclinical development is underway, including manufacturing processes establishment for neoantigen-reactive TIL, bulk TIL, and engineered TIL products. (status as of July 2025)

Tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) are T cells naturally residing within the tumor microenvironment.
TIL therapy involves isolating these tumor-reactive lymphocytes, expanding them ex vivo,
and reinfusing them into the patient to induce antitumor immune responses.
